What are the best supplier intelligence tools for Ivalua in 2026?

On the criteria below, the three strongest options for an Ivalua team are Speya, for off-network discovery plus AI vetting from a vendor no procurement suite owns; Veridion, for a discovery and enrichment API you wire in yourself; and TealBook, when the real problem is supplier master data. TealBook is the one supplier-data integration we found that Ivalua itself announced, in December 2020, and it now sits under Supplier.io. That ranking is Speya’s assessment against those criteria, not a measurement.

This list ranks 9 tools: what each does, what public sources say about who owns it, how it connects to Ivalua, and where each falls short on our criteria. Ownership gets its own line, because this category consolidated in 2025 and 2026.

Disclosure: this guide is published by Speya, which appears in the ranking. Speya has no partnership with Ivalua or with any other vendor listed, and nothing here is endorsed by them. Product names are trademarks of their owners. Details about third-party products come from the public sources listed at the end, as of 3 September 2026.

Why do Ivalua teams add a supplier intelligence layer?

Because we found no Ivalua discovery product to use. As of 3 September 2026 Ivalua’s supplier management pages covered supplier information, risk, performance, issues and collaboration, and we found no mention of supplier discovery, a network size or a named discovery data source (Ivalua). The rest of the platform is a full source-to-pay stack on one data model, from intake and eSourcing to eProcurement and AP automation (Ivalua).

In our assessment that is a design choice rather than a defect. Ivalua’s suppliers page states “No fees. No minimum volume. No worries,” which is Ivalua’s own statement rather than an audited figure (Ivalua). Coupa’s newsroom summary of the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Source-to-Pay Suites lists Ivalua among the Leaders (Coupa newsroom). The consequence is narrow: finding suppliers you do not already hold happens elsewhere.

That makes the choice of layer the whole question, because the discovery vendors changed hands. Coupa announced its acquisition of Scoutbee on 6 October 2025 (Coupa). Supplier.io announced its acquisition of TealBook on 2 April 2026 (Supplier.io). The GlobeNewswire announcement dated 6 December 2021 names Coupa Ventures among the new strategic investors in Interos (GlobeNewswire). We found no comparable Ivalua acquisition, so in our assessment the layer on top is still yours to choose.

How we ranked these tools

Five criteria. Every judgement below is Speya’s, measured against them.

  1. Coverage beyond your supplier master. Can it find suppliers you have never transacted with?

  2. AI vetting with sources. Is the evidence behind a score visible, so a shortlist is defensible?

  3. Independence. Who owns it, does a suite sit on the cap table, do suppliers pay to appear?

  4. How it connects to Ivalua. Named partnership, generic REST or EAI, or file upload.

  5. Time to a usable shortlist. Days, or minutes.

1. Speya

Speya is an independent supplier intelligence platform built and operated by Findmyfactory AB in Stockholm, renamed from Find My Factory on 1 September 2026. A team describes a sourcing need in plain language. AI agents search millions of supplier profiles from 250+ data sources, vet candidates against certifications, financial health, ESG and sanctions, and return a tiered shortlist in minutes, with sources beside every name. Six surfaces: Discover, Research, RFx, Speya Auto, Enrich and Monitor. Speya is EU-hosted, holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, and sells no listings.

Best for: the off-network discovery and AI vetting layer, without buying it from a competing suite.

Works with Ivalua via: the Speya API, which returns structured supplier records Ivalua can write into its own tables through the Integration Hub or EAI layer. Integrations are built on request, where they make technical and commercial sense. Shortlists also export as spreadsheets.

Where it falls short: Speya is not a source-to-pay suite. It does not run contracts, purchase orders or invoices, and will not replace Ivalua eSourcing, CLM or AP automation. There is no certified or vendor-listed Speya connector for Ivalua. API access is reviewed, the MCP server is not live yet, and pricing is on request.

2. Veridion

Veridion, formerly Soleadify and founded in Bucharest in 2019, sells global supplier discovery and enrichment through a natural-language Search API and a Match & Enrich API (Veridion). tech.eu reported a $6M late-seed round in February 2023 from LAUNCHub Ventures, OTB Ventures and Underline Ventures (tech.eu), and we found no procurement suite or ERP vendor among its disclosed investors.

Best for: engineering teams that want raw discovery and enrichment data to model.

Works with Ivalua via: we found no documented partnership. Connect through Ivalua’s REST or EAI layer, or by file export.

Where it falls short: on our criteria it is a data API, not a sourcing workflow. Vetting logic, evidence and RFx stay yours.

3. TealBook

TealBook is a supplier data platform whose Autonomous Data Enrichment refreshes and validates supplier profiles. Ivalua’s December 2020 release announced a partnership to connect the two platforms and let customers find new suppliers (Ivalua). Supplier.io announced its acquisition of TealBook on 2 April 2026 and says it is folding TealBook into a vendor-master-data product called Atlas (Supplier.io).

Best for: cleaning, de-duplicating and enriching supplier records already inside Ivalua.

Works with Ivalua via: the Ivalua integration announced in December 2020, the one named supplier-data integration we found in this list.

Where it falls short: in our assessment its product direction now sits with an acquirer. Supplier.io is a supplier intelligence vendor rather than a suite, so this is consolidation rather than suite ownership.

4. EcoVadis

EcoVadis rates business sustainability and publishes supplier scorecards; Ivalua’s Open Ecosystem page describes its coverage as 198 purchasing categories (Ivalua). In our assessment it is Ivalua’s deepest risk-side partnership: EcoVadis IQ Plus was built into Ivalua Risk Center in a partnership extended on 18 June 2025, on top of the existing Ratings integration (Businesswire). We found no procurement suite among its disclosed backers.

Best for: putting audited ESG evidence into Ivalua onboarding and sourcing decisions.

Works with Ivalua via: EcoVadis IQ Plus embedded in Ivalua Risk Center.

Where it falls short: EcoVadis rates suppliers you name. On our criteria it does not find new ones, and coverage depends on whether a supplier was assessed already.

5. Prewave

Prewave was founded in Vienna in 2017. JAGGAER’s partnership release describes it monitoring millions of public sources across 140+ risk categories in 50+ languages, including CSDDD and UFLPA signals (JAGGAER). EU-Startups reported that Hedosophia led a €63M Series B in June 2024 (EU-Startups). We found no procurement suite among its disclosed investors.

Best for: continuous disruption and compliance monitoring over a supplier base you hold.

Works with Ivalua via: we found no documented Ivalua partnership, so expect the REST or EAI route.

Where it falls short: on our criteria this is monitoring rather than discovery. It will not build the shortlist.

6. Dun & Bradstreet

Dun & Bradstreet supplies business identity, firmographic and credit data, and Ivalua’s Open Ecosystem page names it for DUNS and business information (Ivalua). Clearlake Capital, a generalist private equity firm rather than a suite vendor, announced completion of its take-private of Dun & Bradstreet on 26 August 2025 (Clearlake). SAP publishes “D&B Direct for SAP Ariba Supplier Risk” (SAP).

Best for: identity resolution and financial screening at onboarding.

Works with Ivalua via: the named Ivalua technology-partner integration.

Where it falls short: on our criteria D&B verifies companies you can already name. It does not answer a capability question: who can machine this part to this tolerance.

7. Interos

Interos sells multi-tier supply-chain risk mapping across financial, geopolitical, cyber and ESG dimensions, per its own published materials (Interos). Read the ownership line carefully: the GlobeNewswire announcement dated 6 December 2021 names Coupa Ventures among the new strategic investors in its Series C (GlobeNewswire).

Best for: n-tier risk visibility beyond your direct suppliers.

Works with Ivalua via: we found no documented partnership. Expect a REST or EAI integration.

Where it falls short: a competing suite’s venture arm took part in that 2021 round, which is the question this list is built around. Deep risk graph, no shortlist.

8. Scoutbee

Scoutbee was founded in Würzburg in 2015 and is, in our assessment, one of the best-known AI supplier discovery products in procurement. Businesswire reported Scoutbee Discovery becoming an SAP Endorsed App on SAP Store on 21 February 2024, integrated into SAP Ariba Sourcing (Businesswire). Coupa announced its acquisition on 6 October 2025 and says the technology is being folded into Coupa Sourcing, Contracts and the Coupa Supplier Portal (Coupa).

Best for: Coupa customers, on the strength of Coupa’s stated plans.

Works with Ivalua via: we found nothing documented, before or after that announcement.

Where it falls short: in our assessment a discovery vendor inside a competing suite is the clearest argument for checking ownership before you sign.

9. Craft

Craft delivers supplier intelligence across financials, operational performance and ESG signals, aimed at ongoing supplier monitoring (Craft). Businesswire reported that BAM Elevate led a $32M Series B in February 2023, with ServiceNow Ventures participating (Businesswire). In our reading ServiceNow is not a procurement suite.

Best for: continuous monitoring and risk scoring of a named supplier portfolio.

Works with Ivalua via: we found no Ivalua partnership. Craft’s own blog describes a Coupa listing, so here expect REST, EAI or file export.

Where it falls short: on our criteria monitoring comes first and discovery second. You still need something that answers a capability question from scratch.

How to choose a supplier intelligence tool for Ivalua

  • The independence test. Who owns the vendor? Who sits on its cap table? Do suppliers pay to be in the database? Can the data leave with you if you change suites?

  • The discovery test. Ask the vendor to find five suppliers you have never bought from, in a category you know well, and to source every claim.

  • The integration test. Ivalua’s Integration Hub and EAI module handle REST web services in JSON and XML over AS2, SFTP and HTTPS (Ivalua). We found no public Ivalua developer portal as of 3 September 2026, so scope API provisioning early.

  • The agent test. Ask whether an outside agent can call the suite directly. We found no inbound Ivalua MCP server as of 3 September 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Does Ivalua have native supplier discovery?

As of 3 September 2026 we found no supplier discovery product marketed by Ivalua. Its supplier management pages covered information, risk, performance, issues and collaboration, and we found no discovery feature, network size or named data source (Ivalua). In our reading, discovery in practice means searching the master you hold, or a partner.

Do suppliers pay to be in Ivalua?

Ivalua’s suppliers page states “No fees. No minimum volume. No worries,” with onboarding via portal login, EDI or XML, or Excel upload (Ivalua). That is Ivalua’s own statement, not an audited figure. Among the four suites in this research, SAP’s published supplier-fee materials are the ones that set out fees charged to suppliers (SAP).

Is Ivalua founder-chaired?

Ivalua’s January 2025 announcement states that founder David Khuat-Duy, who founded the company in 2000, moved from CEO to Executive Chairman and Chief AI Officer on 20 January 2025, and that Franck Lheureux, previously Chief Revenue Officer, became CEO (PR Newswire). A 2019 funding announcement stated that management and founders retained majority ownership (Ardian). As of 3 September 2026 we found no later announcement changing either.

Can an AI agent call Ivalua directly?

Not from outside, as far as the public documentation we found shows. Ivalua’s release for IVA Studio states Model Context Protocol support (Ivalua), which in our reading is IVA calling out to other systems rather than an inbound server an external tool can target. Across the suites in this research we found no inbound MCP server. Speya’s own MCP server is coming and is not live yet.

Is Ivalua a good fit for a mid-market team?

ERP Research’s 2026 review states that Ivalua is “targeted at large, complex enterprises; less suited to small businesses,” with quote-based pricing and a separate implementation engagement, and notes “a steep learning curve for administrators and end users” (ERP Research). That is ERP Research’s assessment of the product, not ours, and not a statement about how Ivalua customers rate the suite.
