Find My Factory is now Speya

PRESS RELEASE — Stockholm, September 1, 2026

Stockholm-based Find My Factory has changed its name to Speya. The company is leaving factory search behind for a broader position: supplier intelligence, where AI agents find, vet and monitor suppliers for procurement teams at global enterprises. The new name takes effect today.

“We no longer just find factories. We also show they can be trusted,” said Martin Schneider, CEO and co-founder. “The name had to move with the product.”

Behind the change is a shift in the procurement profession. Finding a supplier and confirming that it holds up have been two separate jobs, often weeks apart. Speya makes them one. Its AI agents search across millions of manufacturers worldwide, vet them against the buyer’s own requirements, and monitor them continuously for risk and change. Work that took a sourcing team weeks takes minutes.

The category is consolidating at the same time. Scoutbee was acquired by Coupa in October 2025 and Tealbook by Supplier.io in April 2026, while the large business systems build supplier functions of their own. Speya is one of the few independent players still standing.

“What procurement is missing is not more databases. It is independence,” said Martin Schneider. “We do not own a marketplace and nobody pays us to be recommended. That is the entire point of an independent player.”

The name is Swedish at the root. Speya comes from the Old Norse word speja, meaning to scout, to look ahead, to find what matters. The company kept the meaning and traded the Swedish j for a y, so a Nordic word reads cleanly in every market. It is pronounced SPAY-ah.

Nothing changes for customers beyond the name. Contracts and accounts carry over. The website is now speya.ai. The product app follows later this autumn, and customers will hear from Speya directly before it moves.
